Leicester Comedy Festival

Various Leicester venues

3rd - 19th February

The UK's longest running comedy festival has joined forces with Dave, the award-winning home of witty banter to become Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival.

Beginning in 1994 and originally attracting an audience of 5,000, by 2011 the festival's audience had grown to 60,000! The past 19 years has seen many top names appear under the LCF banner, names such as Roseanne Barr, Jo Brand, Paul Merton, Jack Dee, Dave Gorman, Tony Slattery, Rory Bremner, Barry Cryer, Alan Davies, Johnny Vegas, Jimmy Carr, Frankie Boyle, Russell Brand, Harry Hill and many more.

The festival has developed a worthy reputation for quirky, highly original one off events and guarantees favourites (including original shows, Comedy in the Dark, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Competition & Comedy Heaven) as well as some new surprises.
